Founding note

Your voice is the moat

The cost of generating a passable LinkedIn post is now roughly zero. Which means a passable LinkedIn post is now worth roughly zero.

Founders feel this before they can name it. You open a generator, get something competent, read it back, and feel nothing. It is fine. It is also interchangeable with the ten thousand other fine posts published that morning. Competent is the new invisible.

What is not interchangeable is how you sound. The way you pick fights, the phrases you overuse, the hill you will die on, the thing you would never say. People do not follow founders for information. They follow them for a point of view delivered in a recognisable voice. That voice is the one asset in your marketing that a competitor cannot clone with a prompt.

So we think the order of operations in most content tools is backwards. They start from a blank prompt and let you fix the voice later, if you notice it drifted. Pointed starts from your voice. You paste in posts you have actually written, the tool learns the rules (banned words, preferred phrases, how you open, how you close) and only then does it draft. Every draft comes back to you for review, and every correction you make teaches the next one.

Nothing publishes without your say. Nothing goes out that you would not put your name on. That is the whole idea: volume is free now, so voice is the thing worth protecting.

This is the first post on this blog, and it is the thesis we are building against. If it sounds like a tool you would use, early access is open.
